Saix: “Time’s up - Aprons off!” Xanaria and Chip have arranged plates with magical pastries on the table. Xemnas and Saix are quietly discussing some plans to be signed. Xigbar: “Damn Xan, what a plunder! What to try first~?” Xanaria: “Thank you! Hah, I almost didn’t get the glaze on the last ones done!” Axel: “So, uh, what exactly did you make?” Xanaria: “Right, let me explain- Over here are cinnamon rolls with caramelized Elixir inside, butter notch cookies with a Hi-Potion-glaze and some Ether-gingerbread for stamina. Don’t worry, I took care of the bitterness.” Xigbar: “Ayoo?” Axel: “You can use curatives in baking? That's genius!” Xigbar: “Wait a sec, lemme grab some- Axel, sugar or milk?” Xemnas takes the plate with the stamina-restoring gingerbread. Xanaria: “Uh sir, these are for the whole group?” Xemnas: “I will require these shortly. Please accept this humble trade.” Xanaria: “S-sure… These look so delicious.” Xemnas: “You honor me.” Xanaria: “Still… Any chance you’re willing to share?” Xemnas: “With you, dear? I don’t see why not. Find me once you’re done here.” Xanaria: “Sir, thank you!” Xemnas: “‘Xemnas’ will suffice from now on.” Xanaria: “Hmngh…” Saix: “Shame. Axel likely won’t have the privilege to assist you again.” Xanaria: “Ah-!” Saix: “Xanaria, these plans and budgets will need a final review.” Xanaria: “Wait what?” He hands her the plans Xemnas signed. Saix: “Lord Xemnas has decreed that building a separate, single-purpose kitchen will be more efficient than restructuring this one. Construction-time will be roughly 2-3 weeks.” Xanaria: “I get my own kitchen?! Hell yeah! Just wait, I’ll get to it right away!” Saix: “No need to rush. I simply need them by EOW.” Xanaria: “No. no. it’s okay, it won’t take me long-” Saix: “Xan.” (quieter) “Don’t you have better use for that energy right now? Nothing to do?” Xanaria: O-oh…. Y-you think-? Did he really-? It’s okay if I…?” Saix: “Yes.” Xanaria: “OH.” Xanaria: “Gotta run, bye!”

Xemnas: “Splendid. then let us start.” He starts taking off his coat… Xanaria (internally): “UH” … to put on an apron. Xemnas: “I recommend discarding the coat for this occasion. Should you not start preparations?” Xanaria: “Uuh- yeah, of course, Sir, right away…” (internally) “Girl, FOCUS!” Behind them, Saix is leaning against the counter, getting a coffee and watching. Xigbar appears in the doorframe. Xigbar: “Hol’ on a sec, is this-?” Saix: “Yes. He finally got his baking competition.” Xigbar: “As if!” Saix: “Lord Xemnas, Xanaria: you each have 90 minutes to prepare whichever sweet pastry you desire. Magic is expressly allowed. For your convenience, the kitchen will remain closed.” Baking competition-montage! Xemnas uses his elemental powers to cut chocolate bars into small chips and hold his tools. Saix: (observing Xemnas) “So he opted for his signature chocolate cookies, interesting…” Xigbar: (quietly addressing Xanaria through a portal) “How ‘bout some sabotage?” Xigbar: (to Xemnas) “Uh, boss… we’re more than 13?” Xemnas: “Who said you’ve earned one?” Xanaria is seen happily baking with various curatives like ethers, hi-potions and elixirs. Chip assists her where possible. Xigbar: “Oi? One hella complicated cookie you’re making there, Sweet Tooth.” Xanaria: “I’m making three different ones, actually!” Xigbar: “Oh… Xan? You might have a problem.” Xanaria joins Xemnas in front of the oven. Xemnas: “The oven is at capacity. How do you propose to bake two more dishes?” Xanaria: “Ngh, could resize and double-stack them, or-” ??? (off): “Woah, busy morning in here!” Saix: “What are YOU doing up already?” Xanaria: “Superior… Could you unlock the entry for me?” Xemnas: “Granted.” Axel gets the opportunity to contribute as a mobile oven-unit. Xanaria: “Thank you, Axel, you’re such a big help!” Axel: “U-huh, don’t mention it…” Xemnas: “Try to keep the heat consistent, VIII.”

A Creeper-Nobody she calls Chip sits on her shoulder when they get company. ???(off): “Xanaria.” Xanaria: “Oh, good morning, Superior! What brings you here so early?” Xemnas: “‘What’ indeed… Saix has informed me of your request for a kitchen overhaul. I must say, I am curious. It’s rare for new members to present such detailed plans.” Xanaria: “Thank you, sir! I hope I covered everything. I understand my ideas might seem odd at first, but I’d gladly explain them!” Xemnas: “Several important, specialized areas in this castle came across as frivolous or of little purpose at first glance. “ (several areas depicted in the background: Marluxia in his garden, Saix in the Addled Impasse looking towards Kingdom Hearts, Zexion and Lexeaus in the library being watched by Chip) Xemnas: ”I am willing to assume your proposition has some communal benefit… if you manage to prove it.
