Just watched the Nebula Q&A unfortunately for Taiwan I think that Trump's Venezuela invasion effectively gives the PRC carte blanche. I hope I'm wrong.

Ze deed me altijd denken aan een soort karikaturale slechterik uit een kinderboek. Lange tijd was dat Dorothea Omber (uit Harry Potter) maar de kinderhaat heeft ze toch duidelijk afgekeken van Bulstronk in Roald Dahls Maltilda.

This is a Trump variant on Hitler's the Big Lie - the Big Stupid. A stratagem so big and stupid that people think there must be a subtle hidden logic because no normal thinking person would ever put forward such a thing. Guess what ... Trump isn't a normal thinking person.
