The only wisdom we can hope to acquire is the wisdom of humility; humility is endless.
Who are you worried about in that division? The Phillies are really old and the Braves lost 86 games and didn't sign anybody. The Mets might not be the favorite, but they certainly look to be in the mix.

I see "hemorrhaging money," but I don't see "tens of billions in debt." Looking around it looks like maybe $1-2B. (This link's over a year old now, might have gone up from the $1.4B cited here since it's losing money)

This falls squarely in the category of "stuff you'd love to frame and put on your wall as an honor, except that normal healthy people who aren't so online would just stare blankly."

The queue only lasted a few minutes, but when it sent me to the registration page, the "Register Now" button just returned me to the queue.

That's a tough one, was your illustration on a Magic card? I know a Planeshift card, but not a Planechase one.

Have you been to the Pasadena Model Railroad Museum (which is not in fact in Pasadena, but in El Sereno)? Monthly open houses - it's a cool place. Good luck taking Metro there though... walking will be involved!

Other people have guessed Darba (which is now a Bird) and Wall of Vipers (which is now a Snake), so I'll go with Hollow Warrior (which was just a Golem then but is now a Golem Warrior).

Thank you, hadn't seen the follow up! Did you see the movie yet? Different tone, but so good...

I think it's just an awful headline. He's loathsome, but his actual comments were more along the lines of "it's good for me if we care about whether it's constitutional, because they'll have to buy my tech to make sure they're staying on the right side of the line."

The Prince cover proves how much he loved and respected her, too.

And how about that defenseman at +28! Don't remember him, but he must have been simply irresistible.

At some point in Spring Training I looked it up and their position players' combined service time was less than Verlander's. (Pitchers weren't much more but Alcantara messed it up.)

I'm sure that involves some ill-defined judgment call on "commonly used names," but I will happily take any opportunity to tangentially mention Calvin Coolidge Julius Caesar Tuskahoma McLish.

Also, intentional walks must be destroyed.

Unclear how OK Glasnow is though - there were reports of "side discomfort" but can't tell how serious it is.

I guess it stuck without him too!

Bunts *and* intentional walks! Everybody's favorite part of baseball.

And you say the fella who hit all the home runs is... tomorrow's pitcher? Can he do that?

Giants too, right? White Sox in 1917, Indians in 1954, Tigers in 2012, Royals in 2014, and Washington (now Minnesota) in 1933. Unless we're saying Washington doesn't count.
