When writing alt text, ask yourself if you would picture an approximation of the image if it was described to you over the phone using the alt text you've written. Doing that exercise can be a good way to determine if you're on the right track.

NGL if I was a voice actor for a gacha game, and I asked for written AI protections, got unwillingly replaced for my role for asking, and then the fanbase online spent MONTHS harassing VAs while defending the person who stole my role because they feel HE was bullied. I'd flip the fuck out.

I used to feel guilty to have fun while there is so much suffering in the world. This mindset has lead to a lot of burn out. I think, per usual, moderation is key. Have fun, be mindful, be grateful, and do something to contribute to the fight against suffering when possible. Balance is important.
