Our local liquor store in Burnaby with the USA wine shelves empty and covered with signs suggesting we “buy Canadian instead”. The solidarity in Canada feels unprecedented, and it would feel a lot better if it we weren’t all so scared of what the future holds, but it’s wonderful so many are trying.
