So I made the grass using an alpha texture and select Masked and Two-Sided in the material in UE5, but the side without light looks pitch black. Found a fix but not sure if it’s right .. how do you solve it?

I don’t know how people use hair particle systems to place leaves and make it look good... mine ended up looking like trees on steroids.. So now I’m back to the old school manual method

I used a real life leaf image to make a grayscale map and turned it into an alpha texture for maximum realism… funny thing is, no one’s probably gonna notice...but it makes me happy 😅

Working on procedural aiming. Ignore the left hand .. no proper animation yet. Need to reduce the camera shake a bit. I am thinking of making a proper aim animation for it instead of Procedural. What do you guys think?

I went a bit quiet lately... been super busy making capsules, artwork, learning animations in UE for the monster AI, and even working on the game’s announcement trailer. A lot happened behind the scenes, but now that most of it’s done, I’ll start sharing updates regularly again. #gamedev #indiegame
