I made Malaysian chicken kari ayam for dinner tonight for son & me & 2 boneless chicken thighs were spare so I cooked in air fryer & made brown rice & carrots for Augustus (he loves loves chicken or chicken livers especially with rice & carrots) - he is now just chillin'

Amidst all the dramatic happenings, I just want to say I *finally* sold one of a few wood marble runs that I got for my Autistic son as a child (now 19 & living independently at Uni his 2nd year doing so well!) on Ebay for awhile & going to a good home - proceeds go to him for fun things 😀

Had my 9 month scan yesterday after left upper lung lobe removal with unwelcomed hitchhiker (I hate the 'C' word - I was Stage 1 T1C N0M0) in February & still all clear - I am so grateful for early detection through an Xray after knowing something was wrong with my body & pushed for tests ❤️

My favourite pubs are ones my late husband took me to on my first visit to the UK in '96 (before marrying him & moving here in '97) - it's either The Philharmonic Dining Room in Liverpool or The Blackfriar in London, weirdly both Nicholson's Pubs?

I was backing up my mobile pictures after dropping my phone into a hospital toilet last month & thankfully pictures were on my SIM card & now backing up to a cloud - speaking of clouds, this is a picture of our local beach which I took on the first anniversary of my husband's passing 27.2.25 ❤️

Spent last 2 weeks touring Giverny (Monet's gardens), Versailles & Paris with my teenage sons (eldest couldn't make it), topped off with Coldplay at Wembley last Wednesday - exhausted to be back at work, but so many wonderful memories! 😍❤️

I hope his visit is a rude awakening of the disdain that the rest of the world feels and thinks about him - King Charles is dead wrong to be hosting a convicted felon, sexual abusing & likely paedophile & am sure Queen Elizabeth is rolling in her grave after paying off Andrew's wrongdoings

I had a lung lobectomy at Southampton General Hospital in February using a VATS robot - it was truly surreal and I am so very grateful I didn't have to have open surgery. I hope your surgery and recovery goes well x

I've pulled my Converse Pride celebration high tops out of the closet today & will be wearing most days this month - I used to try and only wear them occasionally so I don't ruin the bottoms, but we only live once 😍🏳️🌈

Since losing my husband last year & my Stage 1 lung cancer diagnosis in December (lobectomy & now all clear), I haven't posted much, as I've been focussing on my children, redecorating & LOTS of reading, but I wanted to share a passage from @stephenking.bsky.social 'Fairy Tale' I read this morning
Surgical follow up yesterday with Cardiothoracic unit & things are going very well with my recovery from lobectomy for early detected Stage 1 lung cancer - I am now in remission (huge relief!) & I'm so grateful for the life-saving care I have received from @uhsft.bsky.social ❤️

My first Mother's Day as a UK citizen was yesterday & my lovely 17 year old gave me this card, which really made me laugh out loud! he has such a fabulous sense of humour & as my youngest, I treasure every day he is with me before he goes off to University next year 😍
