BREAKING: A magnitude 8.7 earthquake triggers tsunami alert for Japan and tsunami warnings for portions of the U.S. West Coast, Alaska and Hawaii.
The US auto makers know very well that they still can’t sell their cars in Japan even if the nation opens its market to them. (Actually it’s already open and there are no import duties on US cars entering Japan.)
