Well possibly… if you have navigated to the listing through an ad Etsy takes the cut. If you *see* an ad but navigate to the same listing it doesn’t (although as already mentioned there are other fees)

I’ll also add that if you click on an ad you see on google and buy the item, Etsy takes an additional 12-15% commission. If sellers make over 10k/yr on Etsy we CANNOT OPT OUT OF THIS.

I’m a stained glass artist & my peers (potters,etc-ppl that sell objects) are all struggling massively w changes at IG, same situation. People who follow us don’t see our posts. We’re realizing that depending on these apps isn’t enough anymore but v hard to replace. We haven’t figure it out either.
