I was so angry when I was a teenager, and I learned (as most of us do) how to manage it and live with it. I think of that line too because now I’m realizing I was right to feel that anger and when it comes rushing back I don’t need to tamp it down anymore

This drives me batty. He created an entire world! It’s layered and complex and has so many tiny beautiful details! And then he got to the end and apparently just went “eh, I’m tired. Let’s go with something dumb”

Hang in there! Mine are 16 & 11 and not only do we get naps but we ALSO get to tell them not to wake us before a certain time (still early, just a more manageable early)

It feels like they are trying to get us all used to the fact that we won’t be able to retire. It’s ok though, you won’t need to retire if you can just take a vacation to “avoid burnout!”
