Hmm - so the first stage of the challenge is always about fulfilling a certain requirement, like a reaction etc, not necessarily about damage/defeating enemies (like causing freeze or bloom damage as many times as possible), so that you get buffs for the second stage. Try focusing on that maybe?

I think you need to change the score multiplier ^^;
