They did nothing wrong? It doesn't take a person with half a brain to know that that's blatantly wrong and I've gone into why. Blocking someone from viewing your profile because you don't know how to send a simple message saying "hey I don't wanna talk anymore" is extremely dumb and immature.

I feel like the people are missing the point...

If anything I kinda wish that Bluesky had an option where you could simply block someone from messaging you/commenting on your posts. Yeah, I'd be fine with that. But now I'm barred from his account entirely with little to no warning all because he doesn't know how to send a simple message.

Ok sure I hated the rejection, I did. But being blocked out of nowhere? Because all you did was send a simple "how are you doing" message? Blocking is something you do when someone is an actual threat to your online safety, not as a solution to very poorly communicated feelings.

I just wish people would communicate? Would you rather someone block you from EVERYTHING with no explanation or would you want them to send a message saying they don't want to talk anymore? I can't even see his art now like come on.

Ok but also imagine coming back to apologize for everything that happened before, you talk for a bit and things seem all cool.

You only send one message after a month or two and they block you after saying absolutely NOTHING about not wanting to talk to you. Very fucking immature if you ask me.

Moral of the story folks, if you want to cut ties with someone, tell them. Don't say nothing and block them.

So can you maybe just talk about how you feel like, you know... A proper adult would? Instead, you completely mishandled it by abandoning any means of basic communication and resorting to blocking me without even as much as a "hey, I wanna move on. I wish you well."

Not that blocking would be justified in any case. If you'd just told me how you feel, I would have stopped messaging.
