like, there are not many things I’d say I’m good at—but, without a sliver of a doubt, I was a fucking great dog mom. Raleigh loves me unconditionally and the feeling was a billion percent mutual. She was my entire fucking world & I miss her so much it hurts. It’s been a little over a month w/o her.

They just turned 5 weeks old today and are about to be underfoot all day and starting potty training. No need to worry.

they will be socialized. they’re on a working ranch & sleep indoors. They’re around cattle, horses, cats, dogs, machinery, clanking & clattering all day. They follow around as they do daily chores. They’ll hear, see&experience so much during the first 8wks & it’ll be so good for their development

I mean, people in dog spaces can get super bitchy, so it’s natural to be a little suss when communicating with strangers. generally have no trouble distinguishing between a joke or a criticism. Just a lot of people I don’t know replying. But, their bellies are very cute.

In a month and two days, I’ll get to pat one of those bellies. Not sure which one we’re picking out yet, but I’m so stoked!
