Here's my second place entry from the Halloween baking contest (it's supposed to be a zombie brain)

Flavors are orange, pistachio, and blackberry with cardamom and anise.
A 10 inch diameter loaf of twisted babka bread made with dough that's dyed purple and orange. The twists expose homemade blackberry compote and ground pistachios. The top is garnished with globs of honey glazed chopped pistachios, halved blackberries, and pistachio cream that has been thinned with milk enough to drizzle over the top in toxic green colored shatters. The babka is sitting on a cooling rack on a table.

Deatil from a light blue tutu made from tulle. While there is nothing in the photk for scale, the tutu is pet sized, but still a bit too large for a guinea pig.

The greens came off pulling it from the dirt, but finally one of the baby carrots is big enough for The Baby.

I was really excited that I finally had a descent carrot for The Baby and nope, fairy pants carrot 😭
An orange carrot that is almost an inch wide where it meets the green stems, but splits into two carrots only a little over an inch long that resemble small pants.

Red Spotted Purple on today's walk.
