I kind of wonder how much capitalism influences how strictly we think about authors and their work; I feel like there is an argument to be made that outside of capitalism, it would potentially be even fun to see a work finished by other authors and have it be more collaborative

a lot of people treat social media as synonymous with the net. of course by design. that isn't good. convenience at the expense of tinkering is what keeps pushing us into the eternal mercy of tech corporations, im afraid. you must sit with the discomfort of the unknown to grow

Gosh yeah only 2 weeks or so ago I was agonizing over plot points in 2 different planned stories of mine because they could be read as chatbot-bro LLM sentience talk in the current climate and I'm still demotivated from it bc it's difficult to find fixes as someone who likes plotlines like that x_x

Yeah I’ve been on several prescribed stimulants and have never experienced anything like addiction with them, and several girls I know who take them skip 1-2 days a week with no issue (to avoid developing resistance)

if you see property destruction at a protest, no you didn't. you didn't see shit. there are no "paid thugs," posts like this are just recruiting you to act as cops and help to terrorize your peers into not fighting back. it's encouraging you to be the fascists eyes and ears.
