I’ve become very sickened by the institution of the family. So much of it is based on coercion, domination, abuse, etc. Individual families can be great, but The Family™️ as an institution needs to die.

You’d be surprised how easy it is to get things done when you can point a gun at someone’s head and threaten their life without consequence.

I don’t think it would be that hard for the president to order his private militia to threaten the people within those structures to do what he wants, and if they say no, well…they’ll remove them and find someone who will do it.

Read your history. There were many former Nazi officials in senior gov positions in West Germany for decades. They were not denazified by any means, they just changed management.

Correct. The “intelligence community” was caught completely off guard by the collapse of the Soviet Union. They had no idea it was going to happen, but sure they made it happen somehow.

You don’t need to ask lawyers about this. The laws don’t matter. If anyone did that to an ICE agent and claimed self defense, they’d be laughed out of the courtroom all the way to CECOT. Stop quoting laws to those who have swords.

Have you considered that they don’t exercise their “power” because they are worried that the people with guns, many of whom tried to kill them a few years ago, will not allow it? Who really has the power in that scenario?
