Disillusioned client.
I wonder what all those righteous upper Midwest reefer trucking outfits think about hauling freight for companies pulling this kind of crap. They probably got screwed, too.

"If you're really serious about this," said John Anderson of Illinois, "I'll have to leave this place. I don't want to try to educate five college-age children on fifty-one thousand a year."
- Congressman
John Anderson, 1977.

The Buffett caption ... That's a severe distortion of what Buffett says with respect to climate change and, certainly what he believes with regard to climate change.

We are legion.

Lee Iacocca felt the same way. "Thanks, but I don't need it", i. e., another tax cut.

Ain't that some $hit? The Dakotas are big wind power proponents. Hell, the towers and blades are setting along side the interstate in Sioux Falls, ready for installation. Too funny.

The hosts are worse than the guests. We take the time to tune in, and it's wasted time. Even worse, it doesn't even register with them. In their little minds - they're hero's.

Guilty. Babs and Barry. Live. I don't want to do a commercial for YouTube, but almost.

The profession is in dire need of a dose of order and discipline. Even the little people, like me, can see these state bar "Lawyer's Oath" - and, "Lawyers Creed" documents aren't worth the paper they're written on. Need help with landlord-tenant or employment law? Good luck.

It's the ballroom blitz. Sweet. 1974 Are you ready?

I apologize for hijacking this thread.

Can we get a heads-up on what OOIDA's position is with respect to mail-in voting? The organization has always supported this in the past. If what I'm hearing is true, the administration is wanting to do away with it.

Really? You didn't hear or read *anything* about the regime collapse and Assad jumping to Russia? It happened suddenly, as authoritarian regimes do. But still .... Come on. Come on!

Who has time for all of this content? It's a little much. Additionally, some of these outfits ... I don't want to do anything to further their business interests. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Z won't be skipping meals cause ebby's not hanging around. Also, the Tiktok addiction is disturbing to me.

There's a lot of online coverage, tributes, and more. The family wanted privacy. The funeral was private.

I'll drink to that.

Good news! Shots fired (across Leader Thune's bow). Thank you Argus Leader.

Yes. Unhappily, I just noticed, too, that red spot is the epicenter for the ongoing SC measles outbreak. Infuriating. Right on the I-85 corridor. LOTS of innocent victims potentially exposed. LOTS of potential transmission to Georgia, North Carolina etc.

Things just didn't work out. Hollywood got burned, didn't they?

Wasn't Trump v. Haley about 60/40?

The best oranges - hell, the best produce, period, for that matter, America has to offer are straight outta California - not Florida.

Pretty sure legal problems were getting the best of Boston, i.e., the gaps between the albums.
December 8, 2025 at 10:47 PM
That's saying a mouthful. I'm just glad to get where I'm going. Everything else is frills.
December 8, 2025 at 4:14 PM
All involved: no sense of obligation to the audience. People take time out of their lives to tune in and, the no-good SOBs waste your time. Who needs it?
December 8, 2025 at 2:28 AM
Write them off as, uninformed. Going forward: persona non grata.

I only mention it in passing: a couple of years ago,Berkshire Hathaway invested half a billion in DG. Not a good look for Berkshire.
