If relations with Israel are so important that we can't stop doing business with them (including selling them weapons used to commit a genocide), how is Israel's government showing that they are a trusted partner?

Even if it hadn't reached the scale of a genocide, what could possibly be the reasoning behind not wanting to stop any kind of atrocities?
