Ron Ripley: the illusive king of ghost stories. I started with the Berkley Street series and just finished the Moving in series. All of his stories are interconnected are in the same world. His books move quickly and keep you hooked. They’re not available on KU, but I recommend them #booksky

All Souls by Samuel Brower. He’s an indie author and all of his books are available on KU. I’ve read several of them & enjoy them a lot. You all should check him out. This one was the second book in a trilogy about carnival workers who have a secret life-saving operation behind the scenes. (1/2)

I’m going to keep supporting KU. These issues are nuanced. A few or even hundreds of us boycotting Amazon won’t make a dent in Bezos’s pocket, it it will affect small indie authors paying their bills and feeding their families. #booksky

I love Stephen King. He’s one of my all time favorite authors. But the man could really benefit from a good editor. Reading Sleeping Beauties and it’s a great book, but there seem to be 752 extraneous characters to keep up with 😆 #booksky #horror #stephenking

Just got done watching the Hulu documentary on Ruby Franke and listening to the audiobook written by her daughter Sheri. Absolutely sickening. And honestly, I have no sympathy for Kevin. I know he was brainwashed and part of a cult, but I just can’t get past his culpability #RubyFranke #lds #mormon

It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.
I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!
