2/2 The volunteer issue coupled with dwindling support from the City of GR and decreased funding is what led to this decision. This has been on the horizon for a few years now. Frankly, each year we’ve had festival since Covid has been a gift.

As a lifelong festival volunteer (and bleeding heart liberal), it pains me to disagree with your assessment. It has been increasingly difficult to find volunteers to do the year-round work required to pull off this event (not to mention how hard it was to find volunteers for the event itself).
