I would be loathe to not point out (particularly when otherwise literate commentators seem to miss this) that Haywood is referencing the philosophy of Nazi jurist Carl Schmitt here. I know “MAGA guy is a Nazi” isn’t a shocker in 2025 but… Jesus man.
