Today's mood booster after a long week was a spontanous dinner with a friend. Now my belly is full with delicious pho. I didn't take a pic of the food so here's one of Sylvie, the studio cat. She's a mood booster too.

Day 6 - Pop of Colour
The main colour in the Prairies is still some kind of white or grey and colours are more than welcome. One thing I'll probably never get tired of is a good rainbow and one of my favourites from last year is the combo of hot pink and red.

Day 5 - Work in Progress
I'm still working on my Silver Sands shawl, fixing the bind-off that ended up too tight despite a bigger needle size. In the meantime, I knitted myself a new Pussy Hat. One 100 gram skein of bulky merino yarn used up all the way.

Inspiration can be a loaded word & it sounds cliche when I say "It's everywhere." With dyeing, there are no limits. Nature, streetviews are classic. I also have synesthesia, where senses cross. It's been mainly numbers but it also works with music.
