Been combing through a California funeral parlor's client receipt book from the 1920s- very intense, but fascinating.
It lists the prices for the funerary order, death of the person, so on so forth. But they also taped in the newspaper obituaries for every single person- plus follow ups! Human.

Interesting, the more exposed long term I get to an issue, the more picky I get with my reactions to it. I start getting disappointed more than I can manage angry, I expect to get nuance when I see the thing mentioned. I roll my eyes at the knee jerk reactions I initially did in others.
