If the internet just disappeared suddenly, I think we (Americans) would either all kill each other or go back to just being civil and respectful again. Or at minimum, the obnoxious ones would kill each other off and leave the rest of us to be civil and respectful.

"Willfully ignorant" is an elegant and succinct phrase that pretty fairly describes much of the politically right over the last 10 years. Especially the last 5 years.

You watch them on YouTube because the corporations are trash including Google.... you know that Google (a.k.a., Alphabet) owns YouTube, right? So why does it matter if you watch on CBS/Paramount or on YouTube (Alphabet/Google) which is considerably bigger than CBS/Paramount?

Brian Sicknick. Yes I'm aware it was later deemed 'natural causes' but it was also noted that his beating was a contributing factor to his condition. He wouldn't have died if he had the underlying condition, but he also wouldn't have died if he wasn't beaten.

If I can see their face and they give picture ID and a signed warrant, then I take pictures of them all to send to my family and lawyer for documentation and then I go.

How do you feel about the Capitol LEO who was murdered by those people? Would the LEO have been killed if they had a mask on?

Masks are justified in those specific scenarios. But the vast majority of ICE raids are not of cartel or gang members. They don't go to arrest cartel and gang members without knowing ahead of time that they are cartel or gang members. Detaining random day-workers at Home Depot does not qualify.

Do you think all law enforcement should be legally free to shoot first and never be questioned or burdened to prove they had cause to do so? Putting their life on the line is part of the job. Can't handle that, don't become a LEO.

Citizen vs citizen, then I agree about self defense laws. Becoming a LEO of any kind assumes risk to ones physical self in the act of duty. Force is not authorized unless appropriately justified; especially lethal force. The burden lies with the LEO, not the citizen.
