As a child, I needed a language for emotion. I began to make cartoons of stick figure elephants for family, friends & myself. They were personal… but people seemed to like them. 3 decades later, it’s time to share little elephant with the world.

We need to reclaim the elephant.
Elephants are gentle creatures. They’re primarily nurturers.
That they’re endangered is an apt metaphor for the country right now. Civility and kindness is not weak, nor is it “woke”. One can use strength to protect, not provoke.
