Because I forgot to share them here yesterday, here are the black cats I've had over the years.

Oh, um. Caturday!
Looking out a sunny window with the the blinds rolled part way down, are a black fluffy cat on the left and a ginger cat on the right. Also on the table is a magazine, a metal cup with a straw decorated with sunflowers, and a planner. Outside the window, you can see that the sun's coming up with half the lawn a nice bright green and the other half in Shadow.

It seems like a good time to share a cute arachnid with their own reflection.
A jumping spider stands on a smooth, tan surface among water droplets. The surface is shiny enough to produce a strikingly good reflection. Jumping Spiders, imho, are among the cutest 🕷️

A strip of paper just above the midline of the shot says 'analyze only when necessary'. It's a fortune from a fortune cookie and it's laying on my leg. The fabric on my leg is tan and there are three parallel lines of stitch going from the bottom to the top at a slight diagonal to the right. There's a small triangle of shadow in the very upper left hand corner of the shot.

I'm glad I got out there roughly 2 years ago.
In the foreground is a line of evergreen trees. In the middle of the shot is flatter land with a light blue colored river in the middle. I do hate cold and hate it every year more as I get older, but something about a random earthquake leveling things scares me more. There may come a day when that is more appealing than winter, but that day isn't here yet.

In this shot, a reddish orange Sun appears with a bit of a hazy aura around it. There are some linear structures running horizontal from its middle. I'm not sure if it's wispy clouds or just the particulates in the air.

Though, we can't be certain he never field dressed the wrong animal on a hunt.
Three dogs sit in a field amongst grass and weeds almost as tall as they are. There is a green wooded area behind them. The dogs are a chocolate lab, a yellow lab, and a black lab. The dogs are middle-aged to geriatric, as they all have a little gray in their snouts.

This little cutie was at my local town park.
A red squirrel sits on a horizontal (log) barrier, apparently eating something small it holds in its paws. The background is a kept park lawn in shades of green.

These are a few of my favorite shots taken in a county park in WNY, except for the pine, which was taken while on the road somewhere in a SE State.
A family of mushrooms clustered atop dead leaves on a forest floor. Vegetation in the background is the green of spring. The edge/underside of a mushroom makes up the bulk of the shot. It's girls are off white and curve a bit. There are 3 blades of spring green grass. There's a small twig in the lower right quadrant. The upper left quadrant is a variety of tans/browns. A pollen cone (in yellow) hangs next to a seed cone (in brown) on this pine branch. Other pollen cones are visible amongst the dark green needles. The ground below/on the bottom 1/3 of the frame is out of focus with dark greens, tans, and lighter greens. A Canada goose faces to the left in the middle of this shot. The water is still and reflecting grasses in this year's greens and last year's yellow/tans.
