Hey, what happened with your app?

Pray for a miracle then. They'll likely come up eventually. They're pretty intuitive once you get them tho. Much better on Linux than Windows

Everyone has mostly answered, but I'll add that if you wanted a somewhat more complex setup with quotas or permissions, you'd want to switch. But otherwise you're good

If the AOC of a few years ago was running, the DNC would never let her win the primary. idk about the AOC of today. But that's like my whole critique lol
July 22, 2025 at 4:00 AM
I don't think she supports genocide. But part of the success of Zionism has been liberal zionists who do progressive apologia for Israel's actions. When I look at her output and some of the things she's said and done, I become worried that that's what she's doing.
July 22, 2025 at 3:57 AM
For the record, I don't think we're at the point where leftists are refusing to support AOC en masse. But like I said earlier, in the context of her other actions a pattern is emerging and some find that pattern deeply concerning.
July 22, 2025 at 3:54 AM
When I say challenge, I mean seriously, not light criticism (which you do seem to object to for the most part, even if you haven't literally said the words). I mean saying "If you don't get right on this issue I will not support you." And then following through

Depends how she responds in that case
July 22, 2025 at 3:49 AM
The topic is an amendment vote, an ongoing genocide, and how principles should be reflected in politics. This new zealander and I have had an honest conversation, even if we strongly disagree. Seems like you're the only one unable to engage with the conversation.
July 22, 2025 at 3:43 AM
And when left to their own devices, do those sides get more or less bad with time? More, right? So if we never challenge them (and stick by that challenge), effectively leaving them to their own devices, things only get....what?
July 22, 2025 at 3:40 AM
I get you're trying to do the "I'm above you and this conversation," but it kinda just makes it seem like you can't engage with the topic
July 22, 2025 at 3:38 AM
Asking for help can be hard, but I'll explain it to you if you tell me what you're struggling with.
July 22, 2025 at 3:35 AM
creepily parasocial
July 22, 2025 at 3:34 AM
It's what you're saying, though.
July 22, 2025 at 3:34 AM
You're still not addressing what I'm saying. Why are accusations of antisemitism (which everyone gets) now such a concern when before it wasn't? And if she survived it in the past, why should we look at her compromising her principles to avoid it now as virtuous, or somehow not a betrayal?
July 22, 2025 at 3:34 AM
Correct. Everyone who criticizes Israel is called an antisemite. That includes me. And AOC. If she can't take it anymore, soft.
July 22, 2025 at 3:24 AM
You didn't really address my point
July 22, 2025 at 3:24 AM
"You'll never get someone good enough" isn't your point. Your point is that nothing will ever get better, and I'm sorry, I'm not that depressed.
July 22, 2025 at 3:23 AM
People already say that. That is the standard response to criticism of Israel. Tlaib will tank it. Omar will tank it. AOC used to be able to tank it. Guess she's soft now. In any case, mean words is not an acceptable reason to compromise on this particular principle.
July 22, 2025 at 3:21 AM
Tell me how to monetize this, cause I know the answer. You threaten to not support them if they don't meet your standard. You follow through.
July 22, 2025 at 3:18 AM
She voted against an amendment that would have defunded the genocide.
July 22, 2025 at 3:15 AM
So again, how do you get the opposition to be better
July 22, 2025 at 3:12 AM
Brother. They say that anyway. What are you talking about?
July 22, 2025 at 3:07 AM
The issue of funding genocide? wtf?

And if you fail to pressure her by threatening to withdraw support, what incentive does she have to be better?
