Oh yes, I'm sure Musk and Co helped out in many ways. My worry is that by the time the next election comes around, the whole government structure will have changed beyond recognition, i.e. Trump acolytes in all departments.

I think it's a combination of 10s of thousands being taken off the electoral register and a lot of people not voting at all plus some democrats voted for greens which was a lost vote.
