I'm the exact opposite here lol. As a kid i just wanted cool fights and evolutions, as an adult i like the raising monsters gameplay.

Yeah. 1 is great for what it is, 3 is 2 done right. If you ever play 2 use one of the "we fixed the weird delays EVERYTHING HAS" mods imo

The first time I played it at a friend's house it was the coolest game i've ever seen. Emulated it years later and found it unplayable lol
