after 8 months of playing this game on and off, i've finally done it.

In the Lord Contender's Evergaol at the snowy Mountaintops of the Giants, a Tarnished of no renown (center) stands against the one Tarnished who was known to have been the closest to the throne of Elden Lord before he arrived, the Roundtable Knight Vyke (a little left from the center). The Tarnished, with his Iron Roundshield on his back, raises his Bastard Sword. Ready to cast down Carian Grandeur. While Vyke uses his Gravel Stone Seal to cast his own Dragonbolt to empower his War Spear with the lightning of Ancient Dragons.

The Tarnished sits by the Site of Grace after defeating the Goddess of Rot and the Blade of Miquella, Malenia. In the room lies several flowers, with a scarlet aeonia in the middle of all of them. A remnant of the Rot Goddess.

after a year, i have finally truly finished Dark Souls.
The Chosen Undead stands in front of the entrance leading to the Kiln of the First Flame, ready to face Gwyn, Lord of Sunlight, and link the First Flame to become a Lord of Cinder. The Bearer of the Curse stands in front of the entrance leading to the Throne of Want, having just walked out, choosing to try and find a more permanent cure for the Undead curse. The Ashen One stands, with a view of the Darksign replacing the sun in the background and the Kiln of the First Flame in the distance right behind. Ready to face the Soul of Cinder and end the cycle. The coiled sword, which has existed far longer than the gods themselves. The fire fades, and the lords go without thrones. But one day, tiny flames will dance across the darkness. Like embers linked by Lords past.

Saturday (March 22, 2025) - Saturday (March 29, 2025)
Last week, I started my journey through Dark Souls: Remastered, starting with the Master Key since I wanted the Astora Straight Sword early for my build. Here, the Chosen Undead (center) stands by a balcony alongside Solaire (right), gazing at the sun. If only they could be so grossly incandescent. While not much proof, since for some reason I decided to face the other way instead of the door, I fought Gwyn and became the Lord of Cinder. After linking the First Flame, credits rolled, after that I got thrust into NG+. Which is why I'm in a cell right now. I literally got thrown in jail because I fulfilled a prophecy. 10/10, would recommend and would do it again.
