With all the Louvre heist news, if you want to read more about art heists, I highly recommend The Art Thief, by Michael Finkel. It's a fantastic true story about the greatest art theif in history and it's pretty bonkers! 📚💙

In analyzing the books I read in middle school and high school (both in and out of the classroom), I was reading at a Gifted level and in high school I should have been tracked higher in English. My socio emotional state depressed my ability to handle the work in 7-8 9 entrapped me in mediocrity…

Currently reading #Solito by Javier Zamora. I don’t speak Spanish (yes I’m from California and I took French in high school), but feel like I’m learning a tiny bit in the bits and pieces that Zamora sprinkles in the dialogue. 💙📚💡📚
