Had some leftover pie crust so I made an apple pie filling and folded it up. Turned out pretty good for an impromptu baked good.

My third grader’s opening paragraph is awesome.
“Pluto Should Not Be a Planet” 3, 2, 1 blast off (spaceship noises). Hey you now, did you know that Pluto isn’t a planet. Probably you heard the news that Pluto isn’t a planet, but do you know why it isn’t a planet? I think it shouldn’t be a planet but that’s not the reason. I will tell you the reason why Pluto is not a planet in this paragraph with these three reasons: it’s too small, too young, and it crosses Neptune’s orbit.

Highly recommend the book. I’ve been reading the ARC but I just ordered a copy from my local bookstore.

Finished. The perfect creeping dread, occult, Appalachian, secrets. everything that makes a great horror.

Totally worth ignoring everything going on in the world to devour this book.

Just finished and I will anxiously await the next installment!!! This had so many fantastic elements and she had you rooting for some of the most unlikely characters. Everything about it was stuff that I absolutely love. Highly recommend!!

When I went to pick up my copy of Witchcraft for Wayward Girls, my old coworker grabbed this and told me to read it and then bring it back (perks of working at a bookstore). Upon finished it, I can now see why my description of Hendrix’s novel made her think of this one. It’s a goodie.
