I expect you to respect the Canadian commitment to, multiculturalism. I expect you to respect the commitment to equality and inclusion of ALL Canadians, including immigrants, refugees, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I expect you 10/12

interest to hear a coherent and detailed plan on how your party intends to face down the hostile US government. It is in our best interest that you take a hard look at the direction your party is heading, to stop being inspired by the US Republican party’s decent into tyranny, and to make a 9/12

As your constituent, I expect you to represent the best interests of me and every person living in your riding. It is in our best interest to be informed by journalists across the political spectrum, including the CBC. It is in our best 8/12

Your party leader has tried to convince Canadians that Canada is broken, that Canada is at fault, that Canadians have been stupid, and is now clumsily pivoting to “Canada First”. Historically “Canada First” is a slogan that has been used to promote nationalism in Canada 6/12

and the unprovoked trade war, it should be a priority within the Conservative Party, especially within the party leadership, to clearly and coherently address these threats beyond coming up with a new slogan.

I’m concerned that the Conservative party is not rising to the occasion, and it is 5/12

to hide something, is trying to further erode the Canadian public’s distrust in Canadian journalism, is afraid of answering the questions the journalists would pose, or all of the above.
