I am both smarter and dumber than you could imagine.

Do not estimate me.
“Colorful” by Eto Mori. There is no better book for looking past cynicism into true kindness. 💙📚#BookishQOTD

Wrapped up “Nothing but Blackened Teeth” by Cassandra Khaw. Fun book to read after watching “Blue Eye Samurai.”

As always, I learned some fun new words reading Khaw’s work.

On to “The Blacktongue Thief” by Christopher Buehlman. Very excited to start this author.

Wrapped up “The salt grows heavy” by Cassandra Khaw.

What an awesome book. It captures a certain essence of Bloodborne (the best game ever made).

The black pill is a great read. Beyond the main story, I’m struck by how the men (and yes it’s mostly men) warped reality from their own fantasies.

Your words, even the jokes, shape the world.

Finished Shauna’s Journey in one sitting! Stunning little graphic novel. It feels similar to Shadow of the colossus in the sense we are dropped into such a stunning and rich—but decaying—world.

Wrapped up “Columbine” by Dave Cullen.

This book has some issues, but it’s a harrowing read.

The worst part about it is that you can tell Columbine was entirely preventable, and law enforcement still fails in the same ways.

Super fun, quick read. I got a little lost at the ending, but looking back it all makes sense. 💙📚

Wrapped up “Stone Yard Devotional” by Charlotte Wood.

This was a particularly excellent novel. As someone generally spiritual, I found a lot of depth in this work. I’d recommend it. 💙📚

Just a reminder that the UK cover of “The City and its Uncertain Walls” is vastly superior to the US version. 💙📚

UK is the first one.

“Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki” seems really underrated. It’s not discussed as much as Murakami’s other works, but it was much better than I expected. 💙📚
