I think it would depend on how narrow the inclusion populations are, and if they're "similar" enough clinically.
I don't do clinical trials myself but I know the inclusion criteria has to be super specific in order to make sure you're not biasing the outcomes data.

To be fair I think this is mostly an artifact of being over angry patients and hitting their breaking point during the pandemic vs. long covid specifically.
