I live in the same area as he does, and once in a while, he visits local bookstores. They were having an author fair, and it was the first time I was able to go see him. I was SUPER pumped. Might have had a fan-girl moment of tears when I found out I would meet him. LOL

I understand some people can hide that side of themselves, but when I met Patrick, I was completely at ease and felt like he was a genius teddy bear. 😁

I always wanted one...knew exactly where I'd put it, but in the last few years, our neighborhood has had issues with vandalism. I'd be heartbroken if it was damaged or all books taken at once. I'm content now to replenish others. 😁

About the next book? No, didn't ask. Didn't want to attack him. He was so sweet, so friendly. I was first in line, and he spent quite a long time with me. I had him sign a playing card with himself as Kvothe, the King of Hearts from his Kickstarter awhile back.
