52nd birthday weekend was wonderful! Got to spend it with my favorite people in the world, playing #tabletop games like #azul & #lorcanatcg, getting a mani-pedi, building and eating delicious charcuterie boards, and lots of cafecitos.

#ParkinsonsDementia is having your father yell NO in the middle of the street at 11 pm because he's refusing to come home. It's seeing him live fully inside his delusions as he fails to recognize where he is, when he is, and who he is. It's insomnia. It's frustration. I hate it.

Hubby & I are celebrating our dating anniversary today. We met as kids & started "dating" in junior high when he asked me out by slipping a note to me through a friend. It said, “Will you go out with me?” & had two checkboxes. That was 39 years ago today. He asked again, and of course, I said yes.
