Talk simply about what they are doing and how it impacts you and your community.

"Leopards ate my face" and jokes about "we didn't need that (essential service) anyway, ha" are totally lost on these people. I also think it was part of the reason we lost the election: our opposition speaks directly and simply, we dont.

Also: supply chain disruptions. Always worried about getting the meds we might need.
