Remy (pictured) turned on Ziggy after he lost his brother Mallow in 2022 & we have lived in a divided house since to keep the peace. Gates and doors and timeshared pawrents. Not ideal but we have made it work.

We originally had 3 Bengals rescued from the same hoarding situation, a tight set of bros. Hnidy was a mom of a foster litter that Volibear fell in love with through the door so we kept her and they became a quad.
Lost Mallow in 2022 & Voli in Nov 2024. Glad they have each other.

My vacation is going pretty well. Being smothered by an almost 19lbs horse of a cat as we nap on the a catio is not a bad way to go.

She is still what I consider to be semi-feral and keeps my partner at a distance. So every night when he heads upstairs, we have couch time together and I send him pictures of Hnidy in his spot! 😻

I miss fostering, and was waiting to do so again but the crew caught clostridium perfringens while I was on vacation (pet sitter or the one in the pet hotel).
So I can't bring a litter in without really strict quarantine protocols. 💔 Just have to wait to see if it clear one day.

My dude got a dental today, and it is pretty fascinating how each cat deals with anesthesia in their own way.

Remy is currently doing what I have named the "Walk 'n Squawk". Back from another appt (starting a new injectable antibiotic to do at home, totally out of my comfort zone even with the daily roids injections...) and he needs to tell the neighborhood about it. On the catio caterwauling. Sorry peeps!

Happy Friday for sure! Do love some Cats Noir, when I can find him. 😹 He is a newer addition and I too often am saying "Nikka, I can't see you, if you are there, you need to move."

In general, we think he is doing better. Tests didn't show much, had a course of antibiotics.
The new thing our relatively quiet cat has started doing since being sick is caterwauling in what can only be described as a turkey imitation.
Hnidy is so sweet and goes running to him whenever he cries.

Well, we saw our internal medicine specialist... Remy needs an ultrasound tomorrow to better see what is going on.

Most favorite toy are the felt flowers from Sheer Fun for Cats. Can't be a butterfly or a circle, just the flower. Luckily color doesn't matter. But she slowly pulls the petals off.
