Yes, typically a farm is a business (and this probably makes the difference on a legal definition).
But if someone grew crops on a large field and didn't sell them (maybe a communal garden) , surely that's still farming?

Whilst I have also been watching the news a lot recently and can't wait for the boring times ahead, I have thought for many years that retirement is a pipe dream for many now.
