Thoughts and musings on life from the perspective of a casual follower of a loosely defined religion based on interpretations of The Big Lebowski and Red Dwarf.
What a week, and it's only Wednesday. Ugly reactions are coming thick and fast from all sides, and I mean uuuugly. Best to keep a cool head, at least publicly. Things said in anger can come back to haunt you. Don't let the accelerationists drive us all off a cliff. Friends like these, huh, Gary?

Words nearly fail me today. War is a terrible thing. The United States should have learned it's lesson decades ago about interfering with South America. And yet here we are. Greed, lies, plotting, death. A pack of monsters laughing as they move toy soldiers on a map. This aggression will not stand.

Happy new year! Rebirth and celebration are a vital part of life, especially when outside forces loom menacingly. Don't stagnate! Never let fear be the thief of joy. Misery thrives on company, light destroys shadows, and other platitudes. A bit of revelry can even improve the Rimmers of the world.

Waste is a terrible thing. Sometimes it can't be helped, but when we can avoid it we should. Save water. Wash your clothing less frequently. A sturdy hammer will loosen the stiffest sock. Wear the sacred curry stains with pride. Remember, while we breathe we do not stink of death but reek of LIFE!

Peace and Listerian-Dudeism go hand in hand. Was not The Dude an uncompromising member of the Seattle Seven? Did Lister not stand before the crowd at Nuremberg to speak out against Hitler? The attainment of peace, inner or outer, sometimes requires confrontation, often compromise, always empathy.

While ironing the palm trees on the sleeves of my holy vestment in preparation for an annual celebratory ritual, I couldn't help reflecting on the meditative, Krytenic nature of the activity and of the need to occasionally perform selfless acts. I think I'll do a few of my partner's shirts, as well.
