But even if the administration felt that cutting that tiny percentage was justified, you need to do it RESPONSIBLY. You have to give everyone due notice and a year or two to transition to new sources of funding. Needless to say, they didn't do that.

The malaria program impacts 700 million people annually. This is going to have devastating consequences for the MILLIONS of people who receive life-saving treatment from USAID.

Over the last week, he has witnessed 3000 USAID employees cut down to 300. This doesn’t just impact the employees, who were fired without notice overnight. Funding for life saving preventative treatments like malaria nets have been drastically cut.
