Many thanks for both your suggestions! I also like these papers a lot. I think my struggle is that these papers seem more CogSci-based, while the course is about child rearing and education; about the "real-life" development of difficulties and interventions in these areas from a CDS/DST perspective

Something that comes close is this introduction chapter of a book by De Ruiter et al. (2019) on Psychosocial development in adolescence : insights from the dynamic systems approach.

But I would rather include a standalone paper which is less about adolescence.

Part of my struggle is that the course focusses on development, child rearing and education, with implications for practice which stem from a complexity/DST perspective. Many of the sources seem CogSci-based, which seems less relevant for the course.
