Woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, but now I am surrounded by funky art from local artists here in Bergen. That makes everything better. Also a very cute Australian couple came by and bought various pieces. They were lovely to chat with!

Continuing the process with these masks. I’ve discovered that one of the ears do not fit. So I will have to make a new one!

Progress is being made! I have all the pieces for the 2 masks plastered now, just waiting for them to cure properly and then attach them to one another. I have used a surprising amount of plaster bandages for these two.

This part, when you’ve worked so hard for so long you end up with a long period of nothing is so frustrating. I want to be lost in a project! Yet I can’t seem to find one that I want to delve into. I get ideas, but none of them are tempting. Or tempting enough to do more than loose sketches.

The atelier is moving to a new space so we are packing up all our stuff in preparation for the new space. I found these old linocut prints from the time of Covid. Wanting to reach out to one another and the need for connection.
