Progress on my Themis knitted top. I am so happy how it looks. I am using the icelanding binding off to accommodate the stretchiness of the ribbed body and cuffs.

A work in progress of a knitted garment. The garment is layed flat on the floor. The top lace part of a light jumper knitted in sparkly strippy colour yarn going from purple to pink to black to pink again to orange and back and forth in these colours. The bottom half and one of the cuffs of the knitted garment are knitted in a ribbing stitch with black yarn. One sleeve is missing its cuff.

A little keychain I made for a friend a while back. I used embroidery thread and a 0.5mm hook. She is about 2.5" tall.

Being chronically ill means I spend a chunk of my time in bed, not every day/week/month, but enough that I got good at knitting without needing to look at my work. Very handy when you handle black yarn.
I have both fur babies to keep me company.

Another day, another mended sock.
I knitted this pair during Winter 2017-2018. It was the first pair I knitted and which started my little winter sock making tradition. At the time, I had been bedridden for months because of my endometriosis going wild.
I also learned to crochet that winter.

Mending old socks. I knitted these blue ones during winter 2019-2020. I've mended the heels several times already.
Blue and white crew socks. Hand knitted in a ribbed pattern on the top of the feet and up the legs and a smooth stockinette stitch for the soles. On the outer side of the sock, the ribbed cable pattern creates a sort of fish shape from toes to the cuff. On the inner side of the foot, the cable pattern makes a herringbone pattern from the cuff to the heel. Same blue and white hand knitted socks. The picture shows a hole in the heel of one sock and another under the toes of the other sock. Same blue and white hand knitted socks. The holes are now visible mended. The picture shows the mended socks with a ball of white yarn, 2 pink double-ended 2mm needles, and a pair of embroidery scissors around and on the socks.

A few years back, I decided to create a new tradition: making a pair of socks for myself every winter. Behold W24-25 rainbow crochet socks!
Feet wearing hand-made crochet ankle-high socks. The yarn used is a rainbow colour gradation.
