Since 1994, LISC AmeriCorps members have worked to build sustainable communities through support for locally-based enterprises and ideas.
Our LISC Massachusetts AmeriCorps members, Arleny & Roni, hosted a recent MA-based member cohort meeting at Northshore CDC. During the meeting, members created a vision for what would improve their neighborhood and discussed ways to help influence the change they want to see in their community.

This is a great example of how AmeriCorps helps build capacity. Through our #LISCAmeriCorps program, we've placed members with LISC Kalamazoo partner organizations to support a statewide housing plan initiative.

Today's #AmeriCorpsWeek2025 shout-out goes to our LISC Massachusetts team who recently came together for a day of service at the Greater Boston Food Bank. Joined by two #LISCAmeriCorps members, they packed 13.5K pounds of food and packaged 5,400 meals. #GetThingsDone!
