New guidance on the use of intermediaries has just landed. TLDR: Intermediaries are not to be appointed on demand, and should be a rarity (but may be slightly less rare during a vulnerable person’s own evidence).

Why is it, when I'm sitting in a completely empty drs waiting room, does someone always insist on entering and sitting immediately next to me and proceed to cough and splutter continuously? Would it be rude to get up and move to another seat?
