I reported a comment on Facebook because it contained an image with text on it, and the text prominently featured the N-word. Facebook reviewed my flagging it for hate speech and decided not to remove it. 🙃

Been catching up on last season of Call the Midwife. This show is perfect. Every episode is heart-wrenching. No one talks over one another, ever. Trixie’s wig keep getting worse. In one episode the C plot was “there are too many turnips.” Perfect show.

Local daily newspaper that keeps eliminating jobs sent out a notice that my monthly bill is going up $12 a month because of tarriffs. For newsprint for a paper that routinely runs full-page ads for itself to fill space.

After being told I’d never make it in theater with a Philly accent and then being told I’d never make it in news with a Philly accent I am now thinking a lot about how to bring back my Philly accent without having to spend three months at my mom’s house

I only write about Liberty University once in a blue moon but I feel like more people should be talking about the fact that you can dance there now? Not all the time just at pre-approved events. But like. Dancing is allowed now. That’s huge.

Here is the closest I’ll probably ever come to a hot take. For four years, I saw a chiropractor no fewer than 2x monthly. (I did two stints in physical therapy during this time as well.) In October, I stopped getting adjusted. And I feel…..a lot better.

When people ask how I’m doing this week I’m going to say that selling my 30-year-old American Girl doll and accessories on eBay is going really well and see where that takes the conversation.

Went to a new restaurant tonight and one of the owners brought out the oysters we ordered. One of the three they had on the menu was from Canada. “Enjoy them now,” he told us. “They went up $8 a pound overnight this week.”

I’ve been to the movies twice in 2025 and both times I scolded someone for talking. This time I was less nice.
