100%! Early days of parenthood are WORK. People either get it or they don't. Either way perfect is laughably impossible, especially when kids are small + so dependent.

In terms of keeping up with current friendships, I swear just sending texts when you think of them (and setting weekly remembers to touch base bc, of course, #ADHDbrain. I think it depends on if you want 1:1 time w ur friend or want to bring the kiddo. Gotta think outside the box and stay flexible.

When my kids were little I joined a moms support group that focused a lot on us as moms. We had monthly dinners out and playdates where we'd let the kids play and we'd sit around and talk. I still have those friends 20 years later.
