I’m tending to think the decision might have something to do with him but not the way he’s thinking it does.

😢 we saw it coming and couldn’t stop it.

When did CNN become Trump supporters? I watched briefly tonight but had to turn it off as I wasn’t sure the info was true. I’ve watched you since the start and never worried about this till the last several days.

Oddly, I’m related by marriage to him. My mom’s cousin married his dad’s cousin. I was pretty good friends with my mom’s cousin’s son- my second? Third? Whatever cousin. He got a laugh out of it as his family was pretty conservative.

He is great! I actually think he’s got a chance but probably not for 8 or 10 years. Assuming we get the creep out of the WH.

And the fact you stopped listening is another reason we need Black History Month. Too many people like you who don’t listen exist.

But unfortunately, we still need Black History Month for Black people to be given any chance at equal credit for artistic brilliance as dead white men. I can’t speak for other fields for certain line I can art, but I know it’s the same.

but…well black artists were minimally written about in places I could find books anyway. Thank god for Black History month! Scholastic Art Magazine gave me Jacob Lawerence, Faith Ringwald, Romare Bearden and more before I left teaching. Text books improved to include more gradually.

I’m a white art historian who used to teach high school art. I will attempt to answer that. In 1990 I was teaching art to a group of black students in the south. One asked me if anyone other than dead white guys ever made famous art. There was no internet. I had to find books to try to answer.

My uncle in Hamilton area was pissed! I’m pretty sure this was the final nail for your handsome PM.

I read them too. It’s how I get to a better understand of what the headlines mean.

I go back and forth between wanting to know how bad it is and not wanting to know. I read the headlines and move on for the most part.

This makes me so sad. I didn’t see Kennedy but I remember Ford as my first president with somewhat of an awareness at the time as to why. The rest I’ve always respected regardless of party. Till 2016. And now again. It’s so incredibly sad to watch our nation die.

I did not know this. But I can see the need despite not being a coffee drinker!

Not a chance! I hope…

Hopefully not drunk alone with only your cat! I mean I do live around the corner. ;)

He does. He also has this weird tendency, considering his roots, to do the right thing. I’ve been watching him since 1990 when he was doing the (school) Channel 1 news. He tends to get frustrated/bemused by those who don’t. At least that’s what I’ve observed via tv not personally. :)
